This page provides instructions on how to set up and manage your email account hosted by Posmay Media.
Please make sure you have received a username (which is your email address) and a corresponding password for each of your email mailboxes. If you haven’t received this information, kindly reach out to our customer support for assistance.
Email Client Configuration Settings
Instructions to configure your email account with your email client e.g. Apple Mail App, Microsoft Outlook, etc.
- Server Type: Select IMAP (recommended) or POP (also works)
- Username: Enter your email address – the whole thing including @yourdomain.com as provided.
- Password: Enter the password that was set up for your e-mail account – your password can be changed, see below under mailbox login. If possible always copy and paste passwords. If you’ve forgotten your password, contact us.
- Use the following configuration settings:
- For IMAP — Incoming mail server: imap.dreamhost.com | Port: 933 | Encryption: SSL/TLS
- For POP3 — Incoming mail server: pop.dreamhost.com | Port: 995 | Encryption: SSL/TLS
- Outgoing mail server: smtp.dreamhost.com | Port: 587 | Encryption: STARTTLS
- For security settings, select SSL/TLS for ‘Security Type’ and use Normal Password for ‘Authentication’
Webmail Login
Access your mailbox from any device with an internet connection & browser.
- Visit https://webmail.dreamhost.com
- Login using your full email address & password
Mailbox Login
Change your password, set auto-responders, etc.
- Visit http://mailboxes.[yourdomain] – e.g. If your domain is posmay.com, then it would be http://mailboxes.posmay.com
- Login using your email address & password

- Make sure your username and password are correct
- Make sure your server, ports & encryption are set correctly
