Email Setup Instructions
This page provides instructions on how to setup and manage your email account.
You should have received a username (this is the email address) and password for each email account. If you have not received this information, please contact support@posmaymedia.com
Email Client Configuration Settings
Instructions to configure your email account with your email client e.g. Apple Mail App, Microsoft Outlook, etc.
- Server Type: Select POP3 or IMAP (POP3 will download mail off the server, IMAP syncs emails & keeps the folder structure in sync with webmail)
- Username: [Enter your email address] – the whole thing including @yourdomain.com as provided.
- Password: [Enter the password that was set up for your e-mail account] – your password can be changed, see below under mailbox login.
- Incoming mail server: Enter mail.[yourdomain] as your incoming mail server – e.g. If your domain were posmay.com, then this would be mail.posmay.com
- Outgoing mail server: Enter mail.[yourdomain] as your outgoing mail server – e.g. If your domain were posmay.com, then this would be mail.posmay.com
- Authentication: Make sure that “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication” is checked.
Webmail Login
Access your mailbox from any device with an internet connection & browser.
- Visit http://webmail.[yourdomain] – e.g. If your domain is posmaymedia.com, then it would be http://webmail.posmaymedia.com
- Login using your email address & password
Mailbox Login
Change your password, set auto-responders, etc.
- Visit http://mailboxes.[yourdomain] – e.g. If your domain is posmaymedia.com, then it would be http://mailboxes.posmaymedia.com
- Login using your email address & password
Getting An Outgoing Mail Server Error?
- Try changeing the SMTP outgoing port from 25 to 587.
